The Agony in the Garden

1. Jesus sweat Blood in the garden.
2. Men sin. This offends God.
3. We must make reparation to God for our sins and the sins of men.
4. Jesus loved us so much He gave Himself as a Sacrifice for us.
5. Jesus knew the sins of all men in the garden.
6. Jesus knew He would suffer.
7. Jesus prayed in the garden.
8. ...'My Father', he said, 'if it is possible, let this cup pass me by. Nevertheless, let it be as you, not I, would have it.' (Mt. 26:39)
9. Again, a second time, he went away and prayed: 'My Father', he said, 'if this cup cannot pass by, but I must drink it, your will be done!' (Mt. 26:42)
10. Jesus suffered so because He loves us so much.
