Guiding Light - By God Through Me

    It can be challenging to remain alive to the magnitude of the role that I perform as a priest, a servant of God, a shepherd to the world, a sacramental sign of Christ... I wake up, eat, brush my teeth, get dressed and then transform bread into Flesh and wine into Blood.

    Each Sunday, I look into all those faces. One is given new life by God through me in Baptism. Another is forgiven by God through me in Reconciliation. They are all loved by God through me. A troubled mother-to-be guided by God through me. My words can impact life or death decisions! This reality can sometimes seem surreal, but the glory remains, whether I am in the moment or not.
